We took the kids on their first fishing trip.
They were excited to try out their fishing poles.

It took a lot of patience . . .
and a lot of waiting . . .
and more waiting . . .
and more patience . . .
There was a lot of complaining, lots of lines to untangle, a flip flop floating out to sea, a hook in the finger . . . and we did not end up catching anything :)
The funny thing is . . . the kids keep asking when we are going to go again . . . it may be a while.
